CERVICAL SPINE RECOVERY

Treatment of cervical spine discopathies in general and herniated disc in particular, aims: the removal of painful syndrome and paravertebral muscle spasm, increasing the mobility of the cervical region of the spine, statics normalization and muscle corset training to support the spine.
It is recommended a curative gymnastics complex. Passive extension exercises that encourage the movement of the nucleus pulposus towards the central region of the disc. The patient should refrain from any activities and positions that increase intradiscal pressure or causes anterior pressure to the nucleus (lifting, wrenching). Once the protrusion appears to be stabilized, it is required the complete restoration of mobility. Exercises and mobilizations are indicated when finishing the session of vertebral extension.

"When it's time to eat properly and start doing exercises, there's no 'I'll start tomorrow'. Tomorrow is disease."
